Bike Republic Solden

Bike Republic Sölden is one of Austria's most impressive mountain biking destinations, combining professionally shaped flow trails with technical natural singletracks and challenging high-alpine terrain. Located in the Ötztal Alps, the riding area features 17 shaped lines covering more than 42 km, around 30 km of natural trails, 13 enduro tracks, and numerous MTB routes extending throughout the region.

Bike Republic Sölden combines perfectly shaped flow trails, technical alpine singletracks and spectacular high-altitude descents into one of Austria's most complete mountain biking destinations.

Trail Network

One of the area's defining features is its high-alpine riding. The legendary Fernar Trail starts at 2,787 meters at the Tiefenbach Glacier, making it one of the highest and most spectacular mountain bike descents in Austria. Rated S5, the trail features exposed rocky terrain, steep sections, tight switchbacks, rock gardens and technically demanding alpine features.

For riders looking for a longer challenge, the Long Trail Fernar combines several trails into a demanding descent of approximately 10 km with around 1,427 meters of vertical drop. The route begins in the high-alpine environment before continuing through rocky and root-filled forest sections towards the valley.

Lift Access

A major advantage of Bike Republic Sölden is its efficient lift infrastructure. Five lifts are equipped for bike transport, giving riders convenient access to the main riding areas around Giggijoch and Gaislachkogl as well as the Langegg area.

The area features around 30 alpine huts, giving riders plenty of opportunities to take a break between runs and experience the local mountain culture.

Riding Season

The 2026 Bike Republic Sölden season runs from June 4 to October 4. The five bike-accessible lifts operate during the published summer season, although individual trail and lift availability can vary depending on weather and operating conditions.
