Bikepark Leogang

Located in Leogang in the Austrian state of Salzburg, EPIC Bikepark Leogang is one of Europe's best-known mountain bike destinations and a key part of the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn bike region. Opened in 2001, the bike park has developed into an internationally recognised destination for downhill, freeride, flow and trail riding, while also offering extensive facilities for beginners and riders looking to improve their skills.

The wider Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn region offers more than 120 kilometres of lines and trails, with up to nine modern mountain lifts across seven mountains. In Leogang, the Asitzbahn and Steinbergbahn provide lift access to the bike park and its extensive trail network. The mountain stations are located at around 1,762 metres above sea level, providing efficient access to the downhill and freeride trails. The lift system allows riders to spend significantly more time descending and less time climbing.

Trails for Every Skill Level

Bikepark Leogang offers trails for a wide range of abilities, from beginner-friendly blue lines to demanding black downhill and natural trails.

Beginners can start at the Riders Playground, located at the base of the Asitz lift. The area provides a dedicated environment for learning basic bike-park skills, including balance, cornering, rollers and jumping. It also features:

The park's beginner-friendly trail selection includes Gateway, a blue line approximately 600 metres long that connects the middle station of the Steinbergbahn with the Steinberg Line by FOX. The Steinberg Line by FOX provides a longer flow-oriented descent with berms, rollers and jumps, making it suitable for riders developing their confidence and technique.

Intermediate Trails

Intermediate riders have a wide choice of flowing and jump-oriented trails. Flow Link by FOX, Flying Gangster and T-Line by GoPro combine sculpted berms, rollers, jumps and natural terrain to create fast and varied descents.

The T-Line by GoPro is a red-rated line approximately 1.3 kilometres long, connecting the area around Vali's Hölle and Bongo Bongo with the Riders Playground at the Asitz valley station.

These trails are particularly well suited to riders who want to progress from basic bike-park riding towards faster and more technical terrain.

Advanced and Technical Trails

For advanced riders, Bikepark Leogang offers some of the most demanding terrain in the region. The park is home to legendary trails such as:

Back to the Roots is a black natural singletrack of more than 1.3 kilometres, offering a significantly more technical alternative in the Steinberg area. Hangover is the black variant of Hangman I and adds another demanding option for experienced downhill riders.

Lift Access

One of the park's defining features is its modern lift system. The Asitzbahn and Steinbergbahn provide the primary uphill access in Leogang, transporting riders quickly into the mountains and allowing them to maximise downhill time with minimal climbing.

The connection with the wider Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn region is another major advantage. A common bike ticket provides access to trails and lifts across the interconnected destinations, allowing riders to combine Leogang with the extensive trail networks of Saalbach Hinterglemm and Fieberbrunn.

The 2026 bike season at EPIC Bikepark Leogang runs from May 8 through November 8, 2026. The Asitzbahn and Steinbergbahn provide the primary uphill access, with operating periods varying during the season.

The Riders Playground is also open throughout the main bike season, from May 8 through November 8, 2026.
