“From high-altitude Alpine descents to flowing forest trails, Courchevel offers mountain biking across forests, mountain pastures and some of the highest terrain in the 3 Vallées.”
Downhill Trails
Courchevel has 2 dedicated downhill trails, providing purpose-built riding for those looking for faster and more technical descents.
One of the area's notable descents is La Louza, a red-rated trail accessed from the Chenus gondola. The trail was almost completely rebuilt for the 2026 season and is approximately 3 km long, with around 930 metres of negative elevation.
Another downhill option is La Godille, a blue-rated trail designed for riders developing their downhill skills. It combines bermed turns, rollers and varied surfaces with sections through the forest, including bridges, gravel, roots and small features. The trail is approximately 3 km long with 300 metres of descent.
Enduro
Enduro is a major part of the Courchevel mountain biking experience, with 8 marked enduro routes ranging from green to red and black difficulty.
The Intégral is one of the area's longest and most demanding routes. Starting from the summit of La Saulire at 2,700 metres, the red-rated descent continues toward Courchevel Le Praz at approximately 1,300 metres, with the option of continuing to Bozel. The route is around 16 km long and combines shaped enduro sections, bike-park terrain and natural forest riding over dirt, rocks and roots.
Other enduro routes include La Foré, Lou Virolets, La Dérotchu, La Croé, Le Bondge and Pradam, providing different combinations of Alpine meadows, forest trails and technical terrain.
High-Altitude Riding
Courchevel provides access to some impressive high-altitude terrain. The Intégral starts at 2,700 metres on La Saulire, while the Modzon red trail also begins at the summit before descending toward the Cave des Creux. Modzon is approximately 4.5 km long with 600 metres of negative elevation.
The combination of high Alpine terrain, forests and mountain pastures gives riders a varied experience throughout the Courchevel valley.
Lift Access
The Bike Park and its downhill trails are accessed using the resort's summer ski lifts, with a lift pass required for lift-accessed riding. The official Bike Park listing places the main base in Courchevel 1850.
Courchevel's wider cycling network also connects different parts of the resort, allowing riders to combine lift-accessed descents with longer enduro routes between Courchevel 1850, Moriond, Village, Le Praz and La Tania.
Bike Park Facilities
The Bike Park has nearby parking, a picnic area and an electric two-wheel charging station. The resort also offers bike rental and guided mountain biking activities.
With downhill trails, eight enduro itineraries, e-MTB routes and additional cycling facilities, Courchevel offers a varied Alpine riding experience for both developing riders and experienced mountain bikers.
