Caersws Bike Park

Located in Caersws, Wales, Caersws Bike Park is one of the UK’s iconic downhill mountain biking venues, with a history rooted in British downhill racing. The bike park combines fast, steep and technical trails with an efficient vehicle uplift service that takes riders directly to the top of the hill, making it possible to maximise the number of laps in a riding day.

With challenging downhill trails, fast vehicle uplift and a strong focus on technical riding, Caersws Bike Park is built for riders who want to maximise their time on the hill.

The bike park features six main trail lines ranging from single red to triple black difficulty. Lower-track variations and multiple merge points allow riders to mix and match sections and create different combinations of runs.

The vehicle uplift runs directly to the top of the hill and averages around 4–5 runs per hour, allowing riders to achieve a high number of laps throughout the day. The hill reaches approximately 350 metres in elevation, with around 170 metres of vertical descent. Individual runs are relatively short and typically take around 2–4 minutes, depending on the trail and rider.

Caersws Bike Park operates throughout the year, with regular uplift days and private uplift bookings available. Public uplift sessions generally run on Saturdays, with additional dates offered depending on the calendar.
