About Saalbach Bike Region
Saalbach is not a single bike park — it is a large mountain biking region in the Austrian Alps.
Saalbach Hinterglemm is part of the extensive Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn Bike Region, one of Austria’s largest and most developed mountain biking destinations. The region offers more than 120 km of purpose-built lines and trails, modern lifts across 7 mountains, and hundreds of kilometres of mountain bike and gravel routes.
The riding area includes a wide variety of terrain, from flowing beginner trails and natural singletracks to technical descents, freeride lines and challenging routes for experienced riders. Lifts provide convenient access to many of the mountain trails, making it possible to ride multiple areas throughout the same day.
Saalbach Hinterglemm itself is connected with the neighbouring Epic Bikepark Leogang and the Bike Area in Fieberbrunn, creating a much larger interconnected bike destination rather than a single standalone bike park.
The region also offers bike-friendly infrastructure including bike lifts, trail maps, bike shops and service stations, riding technique areas, pump tracks, guided tours and dedicated facilities for beginners and families.
For riders looking for a destination with a large variety of trails, lift access and multiple riding areas, Saalbach is best understood as a complete bike region rather than a traditional bike park.
